What is Meals on Wheels?
Cabarrus Meals on Wheels is a local, nonprofit agency established in 1974 for the purpose of delivering a nutritionally balanced, hot meal to elderly and disabled individuals in Cabarrus County determined to be in need of this service to enable them to remain independent in their own homes.

Daily contact with the CMoW volunteer provides the isolated client an opportunity for friendship and social interaction and serves as a daily check on their well-being, thus allowing peace of mind for their families.
