Cabarrus Meals on Wheels and the Community Free Clinic are once again joining forces to raise money to support our charitable organizations.

3rd Annual Cabarrus Ducktona Dash!!

This year's event will be held at Frank Lisk Park, 4001 Stough Road, Concord, NC.

10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Race will be at noon!

Last year, we had about 300 people attend our second event and everyone had such a great time.  You can adopt a rubber duck for $5 or a Quack Pack of 5 ducks for $20.  The first lucky duck to cross the finish line wins $750!!!  There will be many other in-kind prizes, including a hot-air balloon ride, tickets to a NASCAR event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and restaurant certificates. 

You will soon be seeing a flock of plastic, yellow ducks about the county.  Don’t be alarmed if you see them in your yard one morning.  It just means someone has “Flocked” you with the Ducktona Flock!  The flock will be making its way around the county to promote the event!  Click here for more information about flocking.
